ATERNA PASSES DIAMOND TESTING
Tests Positive For A Diamond
A diamond tester is a thermal conductivity meter that will detect the rate at which heat moves through stones and will tell you whether it is a diamond. Because of the high carbon content and similar heat signature, Aterna will test positive on most diamond testers.
Passes Fog Test
Diamonds effectively conduct heat and therefore disperse heat quickly. If you place a stone in front of your mouth and fog it like you would a mirror, if it stays fogged for a couple of seconds, it’s most likely not a diamond. Aterna, like a diamond, disperses the heat from your breath instantaneously and won't fog up.
Passes Transparency Test
A diamond refracts light so intensely that you cannot see through it. If you’re able to read the letters of the newspaper—even if the letters are a bit blurry, its most likely not a diamond. Aterna's facets will refract and bend the light so sharply that you wouldn't be able to see the print, thus passing the transparency test.
